Bacon!!

The weather has sidelined my Yosemite trip for this weekend, alas. To my fortune however, my friend Ryan is filming his new movie this weekend entitled “Bacon Man”. He has agreed to let me come and poke around with my camera. Hopefully I get some good pictures. I’ll keep you all updated!

Boxing Night

So about a month ago, Erin and I rolled on the ground laughing while Johnny P and Donnie played Wii boxing. In between fits of laughter I managed to get a couple shots off, and liked how this one turned out with the new Photoshop trick I learned. Hope you enjoy it!

Another Slacker Week…

So I’ve really been slacking on the Photo Friday pictures the last couple of weeks. I do however present a crazy digital image this week. The background story for this image is that our hallway at work has become the inspiration for a series of images. It is one of those typical boring office complex hallway, that is just screaming for some crazy pictures. One of the ideas I had for this series was to make Donnie wear waders and trudge through the hallway and then to digitally add water in. I think I’m headed in the right direction with this one, but it’s still not right. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

In Lieu

In lieu of Photo Friday (I hope to have a “late” attempt later this week) I have a foray into portrait photography thanks to my friend Donnie (who is a sucker for the camera, which is a blessing for me). For those of you who don’t know, my “New Year’s Resolution” is to increase my portrait photography skills. Let me know what you think of this attempt…

Cool Cat Gallery

Hey kids! One more post today. I just thought I would let you know that as of today I have three pieces hanging at Cool Cat Gallery (918 24th Street, Sacramento). Their January exhibition is titled “Chirp!”, thus I have three bird pictures in the show. Artist reception will be Saturday, January 12th from 6-10 pm. I hope those of you that are local can join me that night!
