So the theme for Photo Friday this week was Art. As soon as I got it I knew that I wanted to take pictures of graffiti around town. I wanted to get some tags that had big letters and were really colorful so that I could do some close-up work on them. Last night I finally went out to shoot it, but alas the cover up painting crews must have been out in full force and I couldn’t find what I wanted in the last hour before dusk. I finally walked over to one of the corner stores in town that has a graffiti mural on the side of the building and took some pictures of that. Not quite what I wanted, but still cool. Can graffiti be art?
