Although I have been taking photographs since I was a small child. I have only been pursuing photography as an art form since early 2006. My goal is to take photographs that strike me as interesting. Capturing small moments in time stolen from the surrounding background noise. Often, I attempt to do this by playing with colors, angles, reflections and/or light. I’m currently in law school (with the goal of practicing environmental law); as a result the focus of many of my photographs is the flora, fauna, and beautiful landscapes that I hope to work to protect. However, as an urban resident I spend a great deal of time in an environment that is generally regarded as less picturesque; and have come to appreciate the unique photographs that this environment produces.
